BIRTUOSS-Opengela proiektuak bere azken ekitaldia ospatuko du datorren ekainaren 10eanAlcalá de Henareseko Unibertsitatean (Madrilen), Green Building Council Espaniak (GBCE) antolatutako Sostenibilidad XL kongresuaren barruan. Hitzordu horretan, birgaitze energetikoaren eta hiri-berroneratzearen inguruan urte hauetan lortutako emaitza eta ikaskuntza nagusiak partekatuko dira, eta sektoreak dituen erronkei eta aukerei buruz eztabaidatuko da.
Testuinguru honetan, Opengelak birgaitze energetikoan eta hiri-berroneratzean laguntzeko bi saiotan parte hartuko du. Lehena, “Nola lagundu auzo ahulei? Several project partners will take part in two sessions focusing on support for energy-efficient refurbishment and urban regeneration. The event forms part of the Sostenibilidad XL conference, organised by Green Building Council Spain.
The BIRTUOSS-Opengela project will hold its final event on the 10th of June at the University of Alcalá de Henares (Madrid), as part of the Sostenibilidad XL conference organised by the Green Building Council Spain (GBCE). The event will provide an opportunity to share the main results and lessons learnt during these years of work on energy-efficient refurbishment and urban regeneration, as well as to discuss the challenges and opportunities facing the sector.
In this context, Opengela will take part in two sessions focusing on support for energy-efficient refurbishment and urban regeneration. The first, entitled “How can we support vulnerable neighbourhoods? Opengela’s one-stop shops for urban regeneration”, will take place at 11.15 am in Room 3 and will feature Ana Telleria, Director of Neighbourhood Regeneration and Urban Agenda at the Basque Government; Rufino Hernández, from CAVIAR EHU; Juan Antonio Gascón, from ACLIMA; and Alejandro López Parejo, from EMVS Getafe. The session will be moderated by Andoni Hidalgo, representing Gabineteseis.
The second session, “How are renovation contractors and one-stop shops tackling the challenges of the National Building Renovation Plan?”, will take place at 12.20 pm, also in Room 3. Participants will include Txari Vallejo, architect at Bilbao Municipal Housing; Paula Ferrando, from GNE Finance; Olatz Ugarte, from the Basque Government; and Iván Madrigal, from EOS RenovAcción, with Miguel Segovia from GBCE acting as moderator.
Both sessions will provide an opportunity to share experiences, lessons learnt and models for supporting the public during regeneration processes, alongside other relevant projects and initiatives in the sector.

El evento final de BIRTUOSS-Opengela se celebrará el 10 de junio en la Universidad de Alcalá de Henares
Varios socios del proyecto participarán en dos sesiones centradas en el acompañamiento a la rehabilitación energética y la regeneración urbana. La jornada se ubica dentro del congreso Sostenibilidad XL, organizado por GBCE.
El proyecto BIRTUOSS-Opengela celebrará su evento final el próximo 10 de junio en la Universidad de Alcalá de Henares, en el marco del congreso Sostenibilidad XL, organizado por Green Building Council España. La cita servirá para compartir los principales resultados y aprendizajes obtenidos durante estos años de trabajo en torno a la rehabilitación energética y la regeneración urbana, así como para debatir sobre los retos y oportunidades que afronta el sector.
En este contexto, Opengela participará en dos sesiones centradas en el acompañamiento a la rehabilitación energética y la regeneración urbana. La primera, titulada “¿Cómo acompañar a los barrios vulnerables? Ventanillas únicas de regeneración urbana Opengela”, tendrá lugar a las 11:15 horas en la Sala 3 y contará con la participación de Ana Telleria, directora de Regeneración de Barrios y Agenda Urbana del Gobierno Vasco; Rufino Hernández, de CAVIAR EHU; Juan Antonio Gascón, de ACLIMA, y Alejandro López Parejo, de EMVS Getafe. La moderación correrá a cargo de Andoni Hidalgo, en representación de Gabineteseis.
La segunda sesión, “¿Cómo se enfrentan los agentes rehabilitadores y las ventanillas ante los retos del Plan Nacional de Renovación de Edificios?”, se celebrará a las 12:20 horas también en la Sala 3. En ella participarán Txari Vallejo, arquitecta de Viviendas Municipales de Bilbao; Paula Ferrando, de GNE Finance; Olatz Ugarte, de Gobierno Vasco, e Iván Madrigal, de EOS RenovAcción con moderación de Miguel Segovia, de GBCE.
Ambas sesiones serán un espacio para compartir experiencias, aprendizajes y modelos de acompañamiento a la ciudadanía en los procesos de rehabilitación, junto a otros proyectos e iniciativas relevantes del sector.

Opengela hurbileko bulego-sareak, Eusko Jaurlaritzako Etxebizitza eta Hiri Agenda Saila buru duela, Euskadin duen presentzia indartu du, egoitza berriak irekiz Zurbaran-Arabellan (Bilbo), Osintxun (Bergara) eta Mendelun (Hondarribia). Eremu horietan, etxebizitzen eta hirien berroneratzeak paper estrategikoa dute, herritarren bizi-kalitatea hobetuz eta auzo irisgarriagoak eta gizartean egokituagoak lortuz.
Bilbon, ‘opengela’ berriak Uribarriko barrutian kokatutako Zurbaran eta Arabella auzokoei emango die zerbitzua. Bulegoak arreta berezia eskainiko die irisgarritasuna eta energia-eraginkortasuna hobetzeko lehentasunezko beharrengatik 1.739 etxebizitza osatzen dituzten 134 eraikini. Auzo honek gizarte- eta hiri-eraldaketa handia izan du XX. mendeko industrializazioaz geroztik, eta etxebizitza-parke oso anitza eratu du, non eraikin zaharrak eta birgaitze-lan sakonak behar dituzten eraikin zaharkituak baitaude.
Proiektuaren garapena bultzatzeko eta auzoko bizilagunekiko hurbiltasuna indartzeko, Txuringo taberna-jatetxe zaharra jarri da bulegoaren egoitza gisa. Lokal hori auzoko plazaren ondoan dago, eta aukera emango du auzotarren arreta zentralizatzeko eta berroneratze-prozesuari lotutako jarduerak bideratzeko.

Itxiera horiek Opengela ereduaren aldi baterako eta hurbileko izaeraren erakusgarri dira. Eredu hori hiri-berroneratzeko proiektuen garapenean auzo bakoitzaren behar zehatzei erantzuteko sortu zen, hasierako informazio- eta aktibazio faseak landuz, obrak eginez eta berronertaze-prozesuak amaituz.

Opengela is expanding its network with new offices in Bilbao, Bergara and Hondarribia

Zurbaran-Arabella, Osintxu and Mendelu will have neighbourhood offices to boost the regeneration of their respective neighbourhoods.
The Basque urban regeneration network continues to grow as projects in Andonaegi (Pasaia), Txarama (Leaburu), Beraun (Errenteria) and Aramotz (Durango) are successfully completed.
The Opengela network of neighbourhood offices, led by the Basque Government’s Department of Housing and Urban Agenda, continues to strengthen its presence in the Basque Country with the opening of new offices in Zurbaran-Arabella (Bilbao), Osintxu (Bergara) and Mendelu (Hondarribia), areas where residential refurbishment and urban regeneration play a strategic role in improving citizens’ quality of life and moving towards more accessible, efficient and socially cohesive neighbourhoods.
In Bilbao, the new ‘opengela’ will operate in two neighbourhoods, Zurbaran and Arabella, located in the district of Uribarri. The office will focus in particular on 134 buildings comprising 1,739 homes considered a priority due to their need for improvements in accessibility and energy efficiency, although the regeneration programme covers a total of 719 buildings and more than 12,000 homes across the district.
The challenging terrain of these neighbourhoods, which affects connections with other parts of the city and makes day-to-day access difficult, makes the neighbourhood office a key tool for bringing technical and administrative support closer to local communities. The aim is to facilitate regeneration processes through a local, ongoing service tailored to the needs of each community.

The ‘opengela’ in Osintxu, Bergara, has also begun its work, and will be driving the renovation of 12 house numbers and 102 homes. This is a neighbourhood that has undergone significant social and urban transformation since the industrialisation of the 20th century, resulting in a highly diverse residential area where newer buildings stand alongside older properties in need of extensive renovation.
To support the project’s development and strengthen ties with the local community, the former Txuringo bar-restaurant has been transformed into the project’s headquarters. Located next to the neighbourhood square, the premises will enable the project to centralise its support for local residents and coordinate the various initiatives linked to the urban regeneration process.

Meanwhile, in Mendelu, Hondarribia, the project is being carried out across various residential areas of the neighbourhood, combining different building types and distinct local contexts. The initiative covers areas such as Mugondo, Planetas, Caseríos, Sauraenea, San Isidro and Eskapatxulo, enabling a comprehensive approach to the local housing stock. The office, located in the Mendelu Enea complex, provides local and ongoing support to residents, working alongside neighbourhood communities on the processes of renovation, improving accessibility and enhancing the energy efficiency of homes.
Offices closed following the completion of refurbishment and regeneration works
Alongside these new openings, several offices have recently ceased operations following the completion of the renovation and urban regeneration projects for which they were established.
This is the case for the offices in Andonaegi (Pasaia), Txarama (Leaburu), Beraun (Errenteria) and Aramotz (Durango), which are closing following the completion of the support processes for local communities and the successful conclusion of the planned initiatives in each of these areas.
These closures reflect the temporary and community-focused nature of the Opengela model, which is designed to address the specific needs of each neighbourhood during the course of urban regeneration projects, from the initial information and engagement phases through to the execution of the works and the completion of the regeneration processes.

Zurbaran-Arabella, Osintxu y Mendelu contarán con oficinas de proximidad para impulsar la regeneración de sus respectivos barrios.
La red vasca de regeneración urbana continúa creciendo mientras finalizan con éxito proyectos en Andonaegi (Pasaia), Txarama (Leaburu), Beraun (Errenteria) y Aramotz (Durango).
La red de oficinas de proximidad Opengela, liderada por el Departamento de Vivienda y Agenda Urbana del Gobierno Vasco, continúa reforzando su presencia en Euskadi con la apertura de nuevas sedes en Zurbaran-Arabella (Bilbao), Osintxu (Bergara) y Mendelu (Hondarribia), ámbitos en los que la rehabilitación residencial y la regeneración urbana adquieren un papel estratégico para mejorar la calidad de vida de la ciudadanía y avanzar hacia barrios más accesibles, eficientes y cohesionados socialmente.
En Bilbao, la nueva ‘opengela’ prestará servicio a los barrios de Zurbaran y Arabella, situados en el distrito de Uribarri. La oficina atenderá especialmente a 134 edificios que agrupan a 1.739 viviendas consideradas prioritarias por sus necesidades de mejora en accesibilidad y eficiencia energética, aunque la gestión de la regeneración se extiende a un total de 719 edificios y más de 12.000 viviendas en todo el distrito.
La complicada orografía de estos barrios, que condiciona la conexión con otras zonas de la ciudad y dificulta la accesibilidad cotidiana, convierte a la oficina de barrio en una herramienta clave para acercar el acompañamiento técnico y administrativo a las comunidades vecinales. El objetivo es facilitar los procesos de rehabilitación mediante una atención cercana, continuada y adaptada a las necesidades de cada comunidad.

También ha comenzado su actividad la ‘opengela’ de Osintxu, en Bergara, desde donde se impulsará la rehabilitación de 12 portales y 102 viviendas. Este es un barrio que ha experimentado una importante transformación social y urbana desde la industrialización del siglo XX, configurando un parque residencial muy heterogéneo, en el que conviven edificios recientes con otros inmuebles envejecidos que requieren intervenciones profundas de rehabilitación.
Para favorecer el desarrollo del proyecto y reforzar la cercanía con el vecindario, se ha habilitado como sede de la oficina el antiguo bar-restaurante Txuringo, un local situado junto a la plaza del barrio que permitirá centralizar la atención al vecindario, así como canalizar las distintas actuaciones vinculadas al proceso de regeneración urbana.

Por su parte, en Mendelu, Hondarribia, la intervención se desarrolla sobre distintos ámbitos residenciales del barrio, combinando tipologías edificatorias diversas y realidades vecinales diferentes. La actuación abarca zonas como Mugondo, Planetas, Caseríos, Sauraenea, San Isidro y Eskapatxulo, lo cual permite trabajar de forma integral sobre el parque residencial del entorno. La oficina, situada en el espacio Mendelu Enea, facilita una atención cercana y continuada a la ciudadanía, de modo que acompaña a las comunidades vecinales en los procesos de rehabilitación, mejora de la accesibilidad y eficiencia energética de las viviendas.

Paralelamente a estas nuevas aperturas, varias oficinas han concluido recientemente su actividad tras completarse los proyectos de rehabilitación y regeneración urbana para los que fueron creadas.
Es el caso de las oficinas de Andonaegi (Pasaia), Txarama (Leaburu), Beraun (Errenteria) y Aramotz (Durango), que se clausuran después de finalizar los procesos de acompañamiento a las comunidades vecinales y culminar con éxito las actuaciones previstas en cada uno de estos ámbitos.
Estos cierres reflejan el carácter temporal y de proximidad del modelo Opengela, concebido para dar respuesta a las necesidades concretas de cada barrio durante el desarrollo de los proyectos de regeneración urbana, desde las fases iniciales de información y activación hasta la ejecución de las obras y la finalización de los procesos de rehabilitación.
